Regular Season Round 5: Macau BB - KCC Egis 111-97

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Macau. Third ranked MacauMacau BB faced 4th placed South Korean Egis . Host Macau BB (2-2) defeated guests from Jeonju (0-2) 111-97 . Macau BB outrebounded KCC Egis 51-39 including 17 on the offensive glass. Macau BB players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American point guard Damian Chong-Qui (173-1998, college: PFW) orchestrated the victory with a triple-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists. Haitian forward Jeantal Cylla (201-1996, college: Arkansas) contributed with 34 points (!!!) for the winners. American swingman Deonte Burton (193-1994, college: Iowa St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 7 rebounds, 11 assists and 4 steals and the other American import power forward Leon Williams (203-1986, college: Ohio) added 21 points and 16 rebounds in the effort for KCC Egis. Five Macau BB and four KCC Egis players scored in double figures. Egis' coach rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Despite that victory Macau BB went down to eighth position due to points difference. KCC Egis at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with SM Beermen and HK Eastern.
